Bed bugs hitchhike in on luggage, furniture and visitors, hide in mattresses and furniture, and come out at night to feed. We treat them with ULV (ultra low volume) cold fog, for homes, rentals and hotels.
Signs of bed bugs
Bites in a line or cluster
Itchy bites, often on arms, neck and shoulders, that show up after sleeping. Not everyone reacts to bites, so check for the other signs too.
Rusty spots on the sheets
Small reddish or dark spots on sheets and mattress seams.
The bugs themselves
Flat, oval and reddish-brown, about the size of an apple seed. Young ones are smaller and paler.
Shed skins and eggs
Pale, empty skins and tiny white eggs in seams, tufts and cracks.
Where they hide
Mattress and box spring
Seams, piping, tags and the corners of the box spring.
Headboard and bed frame
Cracks, joints and screw holes close to where you sleep.
Couches and chairs
Seams, cushions and the underside of furniture.
Baseboards and clutter
Cracks along baseboards, behind outlet covers and in clutter around the bed.

How did I get bed bugs?
They usually come home in luggage after a trip, or in used furniture, mattresses or clothing. A clean home can still get them; they’re after blood, not dirt.
Can I get rid of bed bugs myself?
It’s hard. They hide in tiny cracks, and store-bought sprays rarely reach them all. Washing and drying bedding on high heat helps while you wait for treatment.
